yeh i hav had success a 43lb common and i have had problems hooking the fish when i first used the rig but what i find helps is to let the fish run a bit longer than normal to make sure. and also the carp gets confused and the run is'nt fast but just beeps on the alarm but watch the indicator hope this hepls you mate. has anyone used this rig i think it has made a massive improvement to my catches and i have had my pb on it a 43lb !
