Markspod - I guess you are right and it's who you know which is fine - but if you don't know anyone it is really difficult. I don't profess to be the best angler but I look after the fish that I catch and look after the environment. I just want to be able to turn up when I want and enjoy my fishing, but from what I can gather it is impossible unless I want to go to places that are not so good in terms of day tickets etc... A shame to be honest.

Has anyone heard of anymore information re this syndicate ? I tried pm'd pel87 but as yet no reply.

Unfortuantely after checking the lakes they are all +45 minutes away from me. Which is a bit too far as I don't get much time on the weekends with football coaching so I think (although nice lakes) I will have to look elsewhere Thanks for the help and advice though it is much appreciated

Hi, with the somewhat lack of replies either my requirements are impossible or it is all a bit sensitive. When I mention near to Epping I am more than happy to travel 30-40 minutes from this area, so please any recommendations would really be helpful to me. Thanks

Hi all, I posted previously for any members only lakes near the Epping area. To be specific within 30-45 minutes drive is fine. However do you know of any syndicates that has Winter ticket places still available ? I think this maybe my best bet initially to get the lines wet. Thank you for your help.

Hi, I know there has been lots and lots of post regarding water in Essex, but I have certain requirements and wonder if you can recommend somewhere this would be a massive help to me. < 5 acres Good volumes of fish Size not really important anything between 10-15 upwards Safe Members only Not too silly rules Can get on the lake at anytime Any help would be much appreciated.
