About Me
57, former full time pro entertainer. I had an accident at the end of 2012, which meant I had to retire, and so now I'm taking up general coarse and carp fishing.
I've read lots, and been confused by much of it.. the WHY is as important to me as the HOW of things - most things in fact. But at the moment, it's particularly angling methods and techniques.
So I'm here to learn, but will contribute my thoughts and experience (mostly of keeping fish and observing them feed, live and breed*) where it might be pertinent.
*I used to keep and breed an Amazonian fish called Discus - Symphosodon sp. A fascinating creature, which after its eggs had hatched, its flanks would darken and the young fry would feed of the parents body slime until they were large enough to consume tiny plankton.
