Just got back from genesis lake in france. Went for a long weekend 3rd march 2017 to the 6th. I wasnt expecting too much. The weather wasnt too bad when i arrived but soon changed for the worse. A night of thunder and lightning. 80mph winds terential rain most of the time and 0c and snowing when i left, But that didnt put the fish off in the slightest. I had the lake to myself and at the end of the weekend i had landed a wopping 43 carp. 6 30s to 37lb and new pb common at 46lb 4oz. And the rest alot of mid to high 20s to 29lb. Most of them i had dureing the day with mutiple takes with one in each net which eddie supplies, If you want good fishing and to get a bend in your rod after a long winter. This is the place to go. I even walked around and stalked a 28 out thr margins i could see, Eddie who owns the lake will sort your every need and very helpful to anything you want. Theres Great showers toilets kitchen diner and all very very clean. Couldnt ask for more. And great prices. Cant wait to go again
