dave_3 Posted February 18, 2010 Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 the lake is 'Bayliss'' three lakes. the carp lake is the one with the island in. i used to fish this place from 1995 to 2004. i now only go once or twice a year. there's a very good head of 20's in there and rumors of a few 30's though i've never seen one. you will here alot of bad press about the lake about litter, rats and noisy anglers. however the last twelve months have seen a huge improvement. if you want to fish it then i'd recomend . avoiding weekends (bivvy city) . fish 2 rods in the margins and 1 on the island (all but 1 of my big fish have come from the margin) . use low vis fishmeal baits. no particles, stick mix or ground bait (you'll get bream after bream) . use little bait ( i use a 6 boilie stringer) .back leads . when you drive to the lake. fish the oposite side to the entrance. hope this helps. if you need anymore help then pm me.
