* WATERS IN KENT *

Hey guys (and girls!),

 

Does anyone know of any good sport fishing venues in Kent? Somewhere where the catch rate is high and provides a novice angler like me with some experience of playing carp? It's quite hard to find a water which suits my needs, as most of the fisheries near and around Maidstone are designed for experienced anglers looking to catch specimen fish.

There are a few around, Monks lakes, Elphicks lakes and orchard place farm down in paddock wood to name only a few. It depends on how far you are willing to travel as well. but those three would suit your needs.

 

 

You could phone up the local ea office and they do a book on where to fish in the county so that would be a good starting point or go into one of the tackle shops around maybe maidstone tackle.

Try Horsham Lake in Rainham (Kent) carp from 5 - 12lb all day long @£7 for one rod and £10 for two (stick with one rod or you wont get to sit down)
