Hello all, can someone give me a list of bits i need to buy from a tackle shop to make a simple safe rig and an idea of how to make it. When i go to my local tackle shop the old boy in there has no idea of a safe rig and doesnt seamed to be bothered about the carps welfare:mad:

The safest rigs are running rigs with a barbless hook.

 

For ease use:

 

Korda running rig

Korda safe zone leader (or wychwood )

Nash fang barbless hook

Braid or mono hooklink material of your choice.

Lead of choice (not in-line)

 

You cannot get much safer than that unless you freeline baits:)
