bigjenno1 Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 just bought some korda hybrid ive got a few grey areas (as iv never used it) 1. do i steam just the nots or hole length 2. after steaming can i keep it in my rigwallet or do i have to use it strait away 3. how much do i have to strip back(is that just ton make tying hiars easyer) thanks 4 your time lads Quote
neilscatchin Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 If you steam the whole length it will straighten the Hybrid out as it's well curly. It will keep in a rig wallet as straight as it cools and stripping back creates a hinge rig.Ideally you want enough to give the bait flexibilty to waft into the carps mouth but leaving the coating on will create a different rig perhaps giving the carp something they've never seen before. keilhj Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 I use hybrid for most of my rigs and i find that it doesnt always have to be steamed. What i do sometimes in the summer is leave it in the sunlight for acouple of minutes then just pull it straight. If there no sun just warm it in your hands or pull it straight and warm it in your mouth. Quote
