Any Carp Anglers in Devon?

I am trying to find out as much as I can about a Devonshire lake called Beechmere Pool. It also goes by the names Bradmere pool and Bradford pool.

I first became aware of the pool when I read "Confessions of a Carp Fisher" by B B, and I was so taken by his description that I thought it would be truly terrific to fish this piece of carp fishing history.

 

I would take a jaunt down to Devon to have a look for myself, but it is an awful long way from London where I live.

 

Do any of you Devonshire carp anglers know anything of the pool or if it is still available to fish?
