phantom
I used to be a member of Windermere and District. They have a nice overgrown weedy estate lake under their control near to Windermere Golf course. I spent about 12 24hr sessions on it and only ever saw 2 other anglers. There was a boat and a huge weed rake available for use, but I did better fishing into the weed. Loads of naturals so i opted for particle baits. Hope this helps. braveheart
There are a couple fisheries in Longtown, one run by Sid at North Lakes aquatics. Used to fish them a long time ago and the fish were doing well when I left so it would be worth checking them out now?
