hillybilly Posted October 18, 2008 Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 hi shawn ,iused to fish tring a few years a go then you had to be a member tonight fish .carp are a bit thin on the ground , best fish there are bream, cats , pike , tench . the fishing is slow but the rewards can be great . i caught my first two pound roach there .the only big carp i have heard of was thirty pounds .the angler used one gallon of maggots with a boile on top . marston res. is easier why not try there. best of luck shawn let us know how you get on.
