sparsholt Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Hi all, Looked at weirwood this week. Looks like a lovely water, Heard it contains carp but cant find out much info on how big they go and how to fish it. Can anyone help many thanks Quote
jthirlwell Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 You can fish it through Crowborough angling club. up to 30's is suggested but facts and knowledge is rare. Looks great though! Quote
dannyr Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Weirwood, 264 acres, carp stock unknown really due to relativley little angling pressure, biggest fish to date 33lb mirror and 31 common. CRAYFISH CITY!!! and theyre the size of lobsters! current fishery manager trying in vane to cull them off, waste of time. carp are fairly easy to catch when you find them. 99% of access is via boat only so be prepared.
