kathtc
Hello there, We joined the caravan club and they have CL,s ( most with hook-ups) also type in on Google "camping and fishing in England ". In the caravan club-- my husband really likes Willow House York ( also for non-members and lovely CL for members with bus from the gates into York ). Thursland Hill Fishery ( CL and caravan to let ),Horn's dam etc. Going to try Red Bank Fishery soon ( fishing for site users only). Non caravan club sites include -- Lakeside at Bielby ( Really lovely! ).King Robert the Bruce's across the border.Charity Farm (4 lakes) Hope this helps. kathtc
HELLO VICNGEOFF, Hope you have got somewhere sorted out ? -- I replied before as we are in a similar position - i.e. always on the lookout for caravan sites that offer fishing too. Preferably without my husband having to walk too far - although I do help carry his stuff. We also have 2 -way radios so if I am up at the van and he requires help - or food !! I can bring it down !! So if you hear of other places ( we are based in NW England) I'd be pleased to hear. Thanks
frostyboxer
Hi There, try the Millpond at Hereford. Its a Camping & Caravan Club site. Great site with really good facilities. www.millpond.co.uk
kathtc
Thank you Frostyboxer -- I shall look at the website -- thinking now of next year ! Don't want to travel too far either with the cost of diesel etc. I have already earmarked many in Yorkshire ( we already go to 1 regularly) and I have located many more. But thanks for your suggestion.
