Guest Anonymous
if you put a stop behind the lead make sure it will dislodge if it gets snagged. no need to put shot on hooklink as most sink length of rigs is up to personal preference [check out the complicated rigs thread in the advanced members area] tubing should be approx 4-5 inches at least longer than the rig
Guest Anonymous
loopy iam not dissing you, but have you done any research on the rig tying pages, do you know that the idea of a running lead is that it is free to run, your not making sense. when i first started out i spent many hours looking for pictures on the net of rig constructions, google and ask is a good place to start that is how i found this site, yes we all ask questions because we all never stop learning, but reading up first and then asking the question if your not sure is the way to go. Guest Anonymous
The rig he is talking about is a semi fixed 'shocker rig' where the fish feels most resistance when the lead hits the stop, it can be good if tied safely. I agree its not actually a running rig tho.
