kaistockton Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 hiya guys!i am 16 and love my carp fishing (dont worry too, i am not one of them young ladz that make noise and cast over every swim in the lake!)i have been carping for about a year and a half now and i dont really feel confident with my rigs, i know there are loadz of technical, simple and fidly rigs but am just looking for a basic solid one which will give me a fair chance of a carp most lakes. in ure opinion whats your most confident set up and bait!(when explain rigs explain all stages please?) as much help would be thankfull cheers again kai Quote

noddy2704 Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 also try to use braid for hooklengths i went to my local day ticket fisherie on sunday and caught 20 carp from 3lb to 7lb nothing special and lost 30 on silkworm wich is made by kryston also has anyone tried the new wychwood braid? Quote
