This is our local lake but we don't get the time to fish it as much as we used to due to other lakes and france fishing. Dave is the baliffand a top bloke, welford is just too busy for us, too many lines in the water. Have a look at Acorn lake near Clevedon superb water lots 20's good value and settings. Also try the South Cerny complex, hard fishing but superb environement, we did a season on hampool the smallest and did ok, biggest 26.12lb but there are some lumps in the other lakes. minty Posted June 10, 2005 Author Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 Hiya Yeah fished henleaze many times caught some beauties from there too!! yeah dave is a top man (much prefered to collin n e way LOL) have fished acorn about 6 times but can never get n e thing big!!! did a week there and must have cuaght 20-30 carp but nothing over 15lb!!!! gonna give it a few more goes tho Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
