wurzel
Hi all I've been using Hybrid for my stripped coated braid rigs for quite a while now and although i've had no real problems with it i fancy a change to a coated braid with a stiffer coating. I've tried a 'proper' combi rig (IQ and Sink braid) but feel more confident with a stripped rig on the rods. Question is what coated braid would you suggest that is stiffer than the Hybrid?? 666carpcatcher
I dont think you will find any that are much stiffer than the Korda Hybrid, but you could try Fox Reveal thats pretty stiff, Fox Reveal 20m Braided Hooklinks -Reveal is a combination of a multi-filament core covered in our removable plastic outer, which can be left as a stiff link or stripped back to create the ultimate combi link. The tough outer coating protects the core which is constructed from hundreds of very fine fibres, which separate in water making them virtually undetectable, by a carp when the bait is taken into a carp's mouth. charlieg
carpcatcher is right i dont think there are any stiffer, but korda are in the process of making an even stiffer hooklink than the current hybrid but that is not available in shops yet. check out suffix's new stiff black hooklink, i have done well on the more supple version, the new one is just stiffer mate.
