nigewoodcock
I've had a few fish out of there whilst practising for the BCAC qualifier coops and I fished on there. Coops had a few fish off the reeds (130 yards if I remember) from the first swims on the road bank. I did ok from round the back part of the lake, by the sunken diving platform. The fish I had from that area included the lake record. Not sure if that still stands? I fished it in March and went light on the bait, fishing solid bags of chops and liquid with a small pop up on. If I was going this week though, I would be tempted to fill it in, especially if fish have been coming off there and you can get near them. In the corner on the cliff wall (the back part of the lake) theres like a cave that the fish sit in. If you can hit 120-125 yards with a bag on, you will stand a good chance of catching off that spot.
texdapis
Thanks for the info Nige. Unfortunately we have had to cancel our visit to Greenhills, owing to illness. However I'm sure it will be useful when we do get there. Many thanks for taking the time to reply to my query. Much obliged.
