Hinged stiff rig

Would anyone no if you can use a hinged stiff rig helicopter style running off the mainline . I do use a naked choddy running on a fluorocarbon leader. I was interested in the hinged stiff rig running also off the mainline does it tangle.any advice would be great if anyone's tried this

Yes you can use it running on the mainline. Providing your using a semi stiff or stiff boom section and balanced correct you shouldn't encounter any tangles.
