This is why I don't fish the uber hard lake literally 5 mins from me but choose to fish a medium to hard water 20 mins away most Saturdays. This monk lakes thing is a little social I've planned, just somewhere that could throw up a decent fish. I'm no noddy when it comes to carping so in with a shout.
