bivvystreet Posted January 23, 2015 Report Posted January 23, 2015 Welcome to the forum mate Not much help as regards willow I'm afraid but I should imagine they see a lot of Cambridge Carp Baits and it's been stocked with Israeli fish if that matters to you.Big cats as well so you may want to avoid fishmeal boilies unless of course you wanted cats as well. Someone will be able to advise you better though mate Quote
amberterry Posted January 23, 2015 Author Report Posted January 23, 2015 cheers mate heard your allowed 3 rods on there aswell now so guess one for the cats wont hurt lol summit to scare the missus lol Quote
bivvystreet Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Lol,got to admit they're not my favourite fish in the world after seeing someone almost wretching as they have a habit of returning your bait and depositing it into your unhooking mat Quote
amberterry Posted January 24, 2015 Author Report Posted January 24, 2015 yeah iv had that before had a 64 lb cat done its deed all over my legs lol Quote
ianain Posted January 27, 2015 Report Posted January 27, 2015 You could try local clubs and tackle shops for info Terry. Quote
dave_3 Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) I fish this lake alot. My tips would be.... As temping as the carp park swims look, avoid them. They do a fish every now and then but every time I've fished there its been the most unproductive peg Slack lines are a must or at least a flying back lead I've had most my fish off 12mm white pop ups Dont bother looking for gravel or silt. You'll catch them anywhere People will say "dont spod, its the death" i spod all the time and have yet to blank Edited February 2, 2015 by dave_3 Quote
