dan_white11 Posted November 19, 2013 Report Share Posted November 19, 2013 Hi all, I am new to the forum and have only just picked up the rods after 7 years away from the sport but I have well and truly caught he bug again. Anyway I am hoping to fish somerley this sunday but have never fished it before. Has anyone fished it recently? If so how was it fishing. I guess it is mostly gravel bottom but is there much weed or silt on the bottom? Am trying to work out my best bet for rigs etc I was planning to go with mainline cell 15mm hook bait and a pva mesh of crushed cells and pellets. Was going to go for one rod on the bottom and one on the popup. Things seemed to have changed a lot since I last fished with chod rigs, zigs etc etc so was hoping to keep it nice and simple with a basic coated braid hair on the bottom and hinged one for the popup.
