userlee5267 Posted July 22, 2013 Report Share Posted July 22, 2013 anyone got any tips on this place we know the fish are there on the middle pond, you can see them swimming around and there huge. is it normal for carp to actually jump out of the water or make a massive splash? because something did a few times down there tonight. witnessed this now in both the bottom pond and top pond. been with the lad tonight set him up on a float and size 16 hook he had loads of fun catching rudd, roach, perch. i used a small swim feeder with red bread crumbs and maggot/sweet corn. not even a bite ha. would be nice to hear of someone who as tried it out before. it's usually packed down there was lucky to get a space for 3 of us. what a lovely after noon in the sun after work. you just can't beat it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
