Guest Anonymous
South's not as weedy as the others as it's heavily fished. My mate Steve is the head bailiff on there and runs it really well with his team, they'll put themselves out to help you get on the fish. The lake is well stocked with a few mirrors over 30 nowadays, one known as petals is a stunner and worth an album pic, I believe that fish is on it's way to mid thirty. I went on for a confidence boost a few years back and over two nights had 39 fish from 54 runs in the left car park swim, the other popular ones are twin bars and the boss, but don't just go for these swims as the fish can be located easily and do move around. Just about any bait works but I find either Perfections choccy orange (petals seems to like this) or 10mm kg-1's work a treat tipped with placcy corn. For up to date info give Ruth, Kingy, Charlie or any of the YAC staff a bell. Well run lake, well worth a few nights.
