Ardingly is a great water and a lovely place to spend the day, untill june anyway when the water begins to receed and the whole place becomes a mudbath, the causeway is a favourite spot as is the bird hut, however this is one hell of a walk, the carp dont give themself up and pre baiting is a good idea if you have the time, big baits to stay away from the vast amounts of bream aswell. Anyway good luck!!

Didn't go in the end. Went up there to have a look and maybe do a bit of pre-baiting but found the water level so low that it put me off. It must have been 6ft below it's normal level. Might be better now after all the rain we've had.

Definitely want to have a crack at it when the levels are back up. Let me know how you get on.
