jambo_taylor
Now All. Am after a list of lakes around the north east (30-40 mins out of hartlepool/middlesbrough) that you can recomend for Carp. Im trying to find some places a little closer to home than down York way. Mainly just some nice quiet places to get the rods wet for half day/24hours (no groups of kids, no daft arses getting drunk) just people wanting to land carp. Any advice would be great. Cheers! graham1969
Nothing North of you mate.....You have to travel south into North Yorkshire, The closest are probably Brickyard (Ripon) and Brafferton. Google Ripon, Thirsk and maybe Catterick.....Other than that your heading to York and Selby !!!!!!!! Brickyard and Brafferton are day ticket only though so no night fishing. Whereabouts you fishing in York. ? Raker lakes???? Graham
