bonedawg Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 I have fished this lake a fair bit since before it opened to the public, the vast majority of carp I have caught there have been caught in the margins, some pegs have been much better than others, I have had some fish away from the margins but comparatively few bearing in mind I allways have 1 rod out over a baited area. It can be quite snaggy in the margins with tree roots etc so be careful, the fish fight well in there but are mainly 10-16lb, 20s are thin on the ground indeed but do exist. It doesn't fish well when busy. Quote
