zander1 Posted September 11, 2011 Report Posted September 11, 2011 Took some Nash fang x in size 1 on my hols this year. Faultless...not one snapped or opened...fish to 85 on them. Good hooks- £1 toooo expensive for me tho I got them out of the bargain bucket of my local tackle shop...£1 a pack Result. Quality! another good reason to use big hooks Quote
bart2000 Posted September 12, 2011 Report Posted September 12, 2011 Nash Fang Twisters for me. I've only been using them for a couple of months but my catch rate's up and nearly every one is hooked solidly in the bottom lip. I think they're meant for weedy waters, but I've used them in other conditions and found they work well. I don't mind the price as I re-use my hooks as long as they're sharp enough, so I get my monies worth. Of course catching carp is down to more than just the hook, but I've got confidence in these as I feel they've made a difference over what I previously used Quote
