chaps Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 hay fellow carpers!im thinking of joining b.a.d.a.c and fishing shepards way, would appreciate any feedback from anyone that might fish there. cheers. Quote
still_waiting Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Hi, I was in BADAC a few years ago;predominately a match club. Shepherds way is a typical carp puddle - rammed full of match carp (average 6lb or so) plus a few +20lbers. Only one rod allowed,no boilies or nuts,no surface fishing,no method feeders, largest hook size 10. Good for short sessions, secure site & night fishing allowed. Quote
chaps Posted April 15, 2011 Author Report Posted April 15, 2011 thanks for the feedback.doesnt sound like my cup of tea. i enjoy using boilies and surface fishing, also like to use 2 rods. do u know any other clubs around the hatfield sort of area? what was your pb at shepards way?thanks again Quote
still_waiting Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Try http://www.verulam-angling.co.uk/ ;good & varied choice of waters. My PB at Shepherds was a 16lb Common (hair-rigged cheddar) Quote
