burg Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Hi guys, I fished Longbridge lakes a couple of years back and the fishing was slower than previous feedback suggested. Does anyone know how its doing? Also ive heard of greenridge lakes in Romsey.. anyone fished there? Im looking for somewhere to get my teeth into as im getting back into carping.. any suggestions for a runs venue with a decent head of doubles in the area to get me started again? Quote
k1mb3r84 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 i was thinking of fishing longbridge recently but heard that since the new owners it is poor. green ridge is ok some fish look a bit wierd like lips missing and boil type marks. i would try hordle lakes for runs and doubles. i fished it in jan in the cold and had 12 fish to 12lbs that was on bobs lakes. use pva mesh with pellets and any red boillie i use cc moore meator. burg Posted February 15, 2011 Author Report Posted February 15, 2011 I went to longbridge a few weeks ago, had 2 runs, one fish. roughly about 7lb, lovely looking fish and good scrap. Everyone on the lake seemed to get one or two, but everytime some one got one in they were surrounded by the young chavs who hadnt had a thing between them.... No suprise with the racket they were making. Hitting Todber this weekend. Quote
