gillcover Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 Our biggest haul to date a massive 2,381 lbs of carp ( yes thats right 2381)between 6 anglers our biggest went 34.5 lbs 5 carp over the 30lbs , 50 upper twenties, 46 mid twenties , 44 upper doubles and numerous lower doubles.( with a few singles thrown in. Now I reckon thats a qood weeks fishin ,dont you? The weather for that week was reasonable not to much rain and wind but it did turn for a N/Easterly after around Thursday and the fish did go to ground a bit. And gues what ,,, we still have spaces left open Quote
genesislake Posted May 18, 2010 Report Posted May 18, 2010 The second week of May saw two anglers on the lake but by now the temperature was much lower than the 1st week with early morning frosts and a temp of around minus 4. Again with winds kicking in from the N/East direction these guys still managed to catch 798 lbs of carp best coming in at 28.1/2 lbs and most being a tad over the 20 mark. Still no spawning at this time, for you guys who dont know where we are this is in lower Normandy ,Orne so if your out this week end in this area we are having sunny spells with a light wind but from the N N /Westerly direction, quite cold nights predicted weather for next weeek is much warmer . lets hope Quote
