i have fished various lakes in france over the years befor i found castle lakes. i have to say that this place is the best i have been to, so much so that i have visited it every year now since it opened. ron and janet run the fishery and you couldnt find two nicer people. the fishing is pretty damed good too with fish to close on 70lb swimming around in the big lake(50 acres) and fish over 50lb in the smaller lake(8 acres). i have had fish up to 48lb. there are poisson chat in both lakes but they are easily overcome with the use of bait armour.
