We had an angler on our lake desperate to catch his first cat after trying all the usual baits (halibut pellet etc) he put a bit of leftover pork on the hair, 10 mins later he was into a 40lber. The following morning he saved a sausage from breakfast and caught on that. He had 4 cats in total all on pork. But as a rule, if cats are hungry they will eat anything/everything.
