did a week there a few years back and had a good session im off there again in october fishing in the lodge just wondering how its fishing any particular baits and tactics last time i fished there pro active pineapple and new grange where on the money ?

im off to chateau des ormes holiday park in Normandy for a family holiday. On the website it states that there iis fishing but other than that i am finding it very hard to find any other information. If anyone has fished there recently or has any other information about the place it would be great. cheers.

Hi i fished vallee lake 1 for a week at the end of October. Me and my dad hired the carpers cabin swims 6,7,8. also on the lake was Dave Lane doing a article for carpology. Durin the week i caught a 54lb 10 mirror and a 30lb common both from swim seven i also lost 2 catfish or sturgeon 1 from swim 7 one from swim 8. My caught 3 carp biggest bein 38lb from swim 6 where he also lost a catfish or sturgeon. We found while we were there the majority of fish came from our swims or swims 1,2 (hook lodge). While i was there no one caught a carp from the middle of the lake and there was 1 48lb sturgeon. Hope this helps pm if you want more imformation.
