  1. Hi Simmons I agree it is prbably a pressured water although I think they do keep the number of fisherman down where possible, I dont believe it get likes say a broadlands where every swim is rammed lol There are some stunners in there but I have not fished it yet. I see it being the same as every water if you blank it can be frustrating but I suppose if you have spent alot of money on a cabin and blanked it can be very frustrating hence the negative feedback that is perhaps just people blowing off a bit of steam. Personally I wouldnt see it as a runs water and alot of those gravel pits arent runs waters and thats what I like about them. It is an absolutely stunning location though but is booked up and I cant get on
  2. Hi All Just thought I would add my 2 pennys worth!!! I have known the owner of Wildmoor for 3 months (not long I know) and to be honest he is one of the most genuine people I have met. He has ploughed an absolute fortune into Wildmoor to make it a real natural environment and the cabins are absolutely first class. Now this is not a sales pitch by any stretch of the imagination and I cant speak genuinely about the stocking of the lake as I dont know but the owner actually said to me he cant understand why people think they would lie about the stock, his words were "why would I invest all of this money into this business only to leave or remove the 1 item that is key to its success" namely the carp!! Like I say I havent known him for long but im usually a fairly good judge of character and I dont believe he is the sort of person to be sat back ripping people off. Anyway the waethers starting to warm up and the carp are starting to bite!!! tight lines to all for 2012
  3. Hi Though I have not fished the lake I believe it has a good stock of twenties with the biggest fish being called the caddy, which has been out a few times between 35lb and 39lb. Boilies seem to work well CC Moore frozens seem popular for over there. I also believe it gets fairly crowded at the weekend as Salisbury has few Specimen lakes within 15 minutes and Steeple Langford seems the most popular.
