Hi Simon, I don't know loads about this place but hope to soon as I am going over end of May/start of June. I know it has been drained down to remove the PC's and other non carp to improve the biomass. Expecting an update from the owner in the next few weeks too as my mate I am going with has been 3-4 times before & thinks it's great. Great food, quality fish & just a nice place. Paid my money so will let you know more later! Danny

Has he had a chance to check out any other brands to see which are more consistently better made?

If you pre-tie your rigs you could steam or dip them in warm/hot water & pull straight & then just put them into a stiff rig wallet. Works for me
