  1. i suppose magazines would maybe point out a few more fisheries ive not seen before but as mrs rusheslake says i wouldnt just book it from a picture id have to do research on them first. glossy pictures tell a good story but a true story it may not be. will take a look though see what i can find, although newish fisheries i.e. 1-2 years old would be more appealing i think
  2. yes totally googled out and your right every website makes venues sound amazing, so im finding it really difficult to choose and with no first hand experience i dont know which are the genuine article. edens looks nice, good stock levels for the size of the lakes i think. blavet also look lovely with some monster fish in it by the looks of things so thats two venues to consider. the responsibility of finding somewhere to suit all abilities is a hard one, dont want to let anyone down. feeling the pressure
  3. hi chaps, im new to the forum so please be gentle. im looking to go to france for my first time next summer. we have a party of 5-6 people some good anglers some more novice and we need a venue to suit both ranges so i.e. plenty of runs of the novices but some nice 30-40lb fish for the better anglers. ive been looking on the internet day in day out for weeks and its now getting a bit stressful but i dont want to just book anywhere only to disappoint everyonne. so far i like the look of mirror pool fisheries - mayflower pool, carpe d'or - napoleon 1 and carp runs moulin de bley. am i totally off the mark with these venues for what i need? thanks in advance guys
