[Marton Mere Lake (Blackpool)]

i know a lad that tried to fish it he got there just as it was going dark had set up his stuff and within half an hour security from marton mere and 2 park rangers from stanley park were there to escort him off. i think he was just unlucky and someone must have seen him and said something. is it really worth the risk.

it used to be run by a club called blackpool angling club years ago but they could not afford to keep it on and when they gave it up they said they would not let it out for fishing again. i would love to get on there seen some really big carp cruising in summer.

[FOUR SEASONS FISHERIES, BLACKPOOL]

i live local to four seasons fishery and have been there 4 times so far and caught twice 3 fish on my first session and 2 fish on my second session all only 24 hours. i do beleive the fish are there i think everyone is just treating it as an easy water, expecting to catch, like ben said these are not virgin fish some have been caught before and as everyone knows they wise up. maybe instead of expecting to catch we should put a bit of effort in (including myself) to try and outsmart these wary carp like we would if we went to any other fishery that is hard to fish or we have never fished before. i know i will be going back again this year and good luck to everyone else who does.

hi i have fished there twice and blanked both times, but my mate had 2 out on strawberry boilies, maybe worth a try good luck.

[four seasons blackpool]

hi its not as bad as everyone says i have fished there 3 times on mill lake and i have had 4 fish biggest being a low 20 common. I used richworths kg1 boilies tipped with fake plastic corn. Hope this helps

hi does anyone know of any places to go carping near blackpool as i only know stanley park and four seasons fishery.
