I spend quite alot of time in the summer stalking, freelining anything from boilies to lobworms in the margins, a great tactic which produced my pb. I agree its for sure a lost tactic to most anglers.

You can if you want but depends on your fishing circumstances, go with the Nash Armourbraid mate, it wont let you down!

Nash Armourbraid is in 20/30/40Ib BS It is supple but not overly. Green in colour, I use this quite a bit for snag, river fishing also had cats to 60Ib on it. Quicksilver/Quicksilver gold ( coated version ) is other option but gravel colour so depends on where your fishing.
