  1. Fished there this year, 34lb common, lost two others. The swans are a nightmare you need to fish 6ft + deep, fish in good condition. The baliff is always bivvied up in the bay - best area. Facilities are poor! nice lake though - good luck.
  2. There are quite a few lakes on the complex, is it Roland de Peche?
  3. 10kg of boilies, don't just take cell, another type is useful. Particles take plenty of tigers & hemp. Get the maize wfen you are over there. Quantity depends on style of fishing. I'm off there as well best of luck
  4. I'm off to Roland de Peche at the end of April, first time to the venue, this time by myself. Can't wait!
  5. It's a method tried a few years ago but I dropped it because it doesn't allow the hook to separate from the bait and therfore not getting secure hook-holds.
  6. The best way is to get your length of mono, tie a loop on one end, trim to the correct length so it finishes just above the eye. Blob the end with a lighter then whip the hook link on where the braid continues down the shank, trapping the hair as you move down. A bit fiddley but not the best of methods of attaching the hair because you are relying on the hook point catching on its way out. Any way good luck
  7. Hi, first post and I am already asking for something. I am planning a trip to Roland de Peche in april 2010. Any thoughts or experiences. Cheers!
