Has anyone got any experiance fishing a lake called Stanninghall near Norwich UK? We are planning to head there this weekend and wanted some advance on what works well and where the hot spots are? The lake is near Spixworth and has recently been taken under new management (18 months ago). Thanks in advance.

Has anyone fished this syndicate in the past or do you currently fish it? I am trying to guage how hard the fishing is? im concerned that being such a amature big carp angler that i will pay out and go all seasons with out catching a thing! Please help if possible.

Cheers Jules, I have had a look round and am now familiar with different rigs but there seems to be knowehere that gives information about when to use each rig, what conditions warrant a helecopter rig for example? Im guessing these different rigs have evolved from need, ideally i want to be able to take a educated decision on what rig i will use in each water/swim rather than guessing and hoping for the best. Hi All, I am a bit of a novice carp angler and want to up my game next year to catch a bigger carp, i'm struggling at the moment understanding why there are so may rigs and when to use them. Traditionally i have used a basic bolt rig for everything with limited success, Can you guys let me know what are the core rigs and when to use them For example I have heard of a helicopter rig but don't know when to use this and why i should use this over a bolt rig? Hopefully with this info i can make an educated decision on what rigs to use increasing my chances of catching. Thanks in advance!
