Bit of a late reply but just found your question about Holmston Hall. Its in the village of Eaton near Tarporly; small complex with 3 pits. Largest pit is about an acre and apparently has carp up to 25lb. Saying that i've fished it a few times this summer and the biggest i've seen come out is a 14lb. Nice place though even if it can get a bit busy over the weekend. I'd be interested to know how its fishing this Autumn now the weather has cooled down a bit. Good luck, Al

Hi Guys, Planning to go fishing this Friday and cant decide between Holmston Hall in Eaton near Tarporly or Denhall Farm in Burton in Cheshire. Have tried Denhall 2 Fridays on the run; total of 19 hours fishing and all i've caught is one lousy chub! Anyone know how Holmston has been fishing? Or can anyone give me tips on Denhall?
