Hi has anyone used these instead of the usual pva string? I find that when using it leaves a nasty blob of undisolved pva where the sting holds the bag. This becomes an even more noticable blob when the coloursed mix in the bag colours the blob of pva goo. I watched the little video promoting the ties and they seem to be a better alternative. I await your remarks..Thanks
