No, you're hooklink should be 20lb or 15lb. Its such a complicated rig if you don't know exactly how it works, so many other easy rigs out there to use. Don't be fooled into thinking this rig is the only one to use. But studdy these links and look at some vidoes on youtube to gove you a good idea how they work and how to tie each individual section safetly. Good luck

Tie some pva tape behind your top bead so that it doesnt fly up when you cast, once it has melted your rig is a safe as it was before
