There are a few good ponds around the carlisle area, crofton on the outskirts of carlisle, brayton in aspartria,( very good runs pond, lots of 3-4 pounders with a very good head of 8-16 pounders. theres also one in Penrith called Whinns pond, roach. perch, decent bream, good carp and tench pond atb c.k100
