Forgot to mention to use Korda shockleader sleeves if you're using Korda leads. This allows the Lead to pass over the Shockleader knot in case the line breaks and the fish is trailing a rig.

Use a Splice if you're tying Lead-core to a swivel as it leaves the line flush. Make sure that there's at least 2 inches (5mm) of leadcore with the lead removed spliced inside it self to be safe. Kryston Score in 45lb is the easiest to work with. Any of the leadcores under 30lb are a nightmare to work on.
