cheers guys, thought it sounded too good to be true the miissus booking a holiday with a nice lake there..

has anyone fished these lakes,i going there with missus and friends in april and have just found out there happens to be 2 carp lakes so have persuaded misses that i can squeeze a couple of rods in the car.any info apprieciated,

Hi Guys, has anyone got any info at all about Manea pit in cambs i have moved into the area and am looking for a new challenge.they have done loads of work to the banks to make it more approachable but this could be a disadvantage to carp anglers if it gets to popular. any info appriceiated

i,ve been there twice,fantastic place,had fish up to 47-12 .margins and island good areas as with most lakes and if you find gravel patch about half way across between gate and tip of island this can be good.they do like the bait sold buy the owners who are great guys.

glad to hear your happy , is it the lakes i was talking about and if so is paul still running it? i used to fish maggots in the winter and had some realy good catches might still be worth a go, and on the lake across the railway the roach used to take small spinners which i have never experienced anywhere else.

i used to fish the three lakeson the syndicate just outside chesterford as you go to the m11 about 15 years ago and it was run by Paul Elsgood who run it very well and even then they were quite hard but if you worked hard for your fish the results were good.sorry but havent any recent info but Peter the baliff at clavering knows paul i think so that could be a lead. good luck.

Hi chaps,had a walk round both these pits today and am trying the easier one tomorrow but would like to know any information especially on the B PIT as have heard various conflicting things about it.
