just back from my first ever trip 2 a french carp lake.great place,lake nice size(13acres)carp 2 over 70lb,not much under 20lb,but sadly i blanked!Why,i don't know.Lake is called 'Val Dore'90mins from calais.They have 5 lakes on the complex so was wondering if anyone knows of something else in france with this kind of fish.Prefably with just 2/3 lakes with big fish,and not 2 small.I have a theroy why i possibly blanked,they had a match on this lake prior 2 my arrival(2wk ago),and all the bait that was left over was thrown in also have gud information that the amount was in the region of a ton!!!! I think the owner should have been warned of this.Never mind thats carp fishing.
