  1. Hey,

Fished it before and would again, Loved the place. As for taking the skill out of Carp fishing Aka Watercraft and location, If there was no draw for the pegs you still would not be able to find the fish and get onto them as there would be folks in them 24/7:)

  2. I use that dacron mate,

just love the way it sinks and suppleness, not great on abrasion resitance i have found, nice colour too.

the old multi strand was it not made by kryston a white un spun version found it mega hard to tie.

  3. Shockleader = length of heavy line that absorbs the impact of a hard cast with a heavy weight.

The leadcore debate is not worth getting into love it or hate it, it's here to stay.

Think about what could happen using any leader and use common sense, other than that everytime you cast in your taking a calculated risk on the fishes well being any thing we can do to reduce this is a bonus.

  4. Hi

If your margin fishing mate i would just use the lift method using solar depth charge or a float wrapped in heavy metal putty.

honestly i would not have a problem nipping some shot onto the line, can't recall losing a fish through it.

the lift method is such a lovely way to fish and would be my first hit on a calmer day.
