  1. I fished the B pit for 24 hour sesh. I fished the north swim nearest the main road with an island situted straight ahead of it. There was alot of carp crashing the water at night straight out of me in the clump of weed which i was fishing just to the left to fishing a choddie with a 14mm popped up fluro cell. on The left hand rod a was fishing the multi with a sticky vortex 16mm pop up about 4ft from the island. The right hand rod was fished about 30 yrds out in the right hand margin where carp are often reported patrolling. This was fished on a stiff bottom bait rig with a cell boilie tipped off with a bit of corn and was altered with just a bait stop. Shamefully no action at all the lad that was fishing the other swim from me bagged roughly 5 bream to 4lb. In the morning one of the guys fishing the B pit reported a 12lb, 14lb and 19lb on the steps where ever that is? Through patrolling round the whole lake i noticed that the carp often patrol the little pit to the east around tea time and tend to move towards the west during the night. Any tips or advice would be great everything is right might change a few rigs and baits etc but want to try to stick to the same swim if possible as iv'e put a fair amount of bait in. Just hope the carp bite!
  2. Just wanting to confirm some information that I found about Broome Pit. Going by some research im looking for the pit that has the best possible chance of producing a 20+. A Pit - 10lb+ Tench and Bream B Pit - Carp to 35lb plenty of 20's Kidney Pit - Carp to 15lb D Pit - 13 Carp stocked all are 20lb+ biggest nearing 39lb Any Advice or baits or rigs and spots would also be appreciated. Also can i fish 3 rods or is it strictly a 2 rod limit? I'm guessing B sounds the best bet but which one is B?
  3. Hello, I'm hoping you guys can help me out here. My son is coming down for the summer for a month and was wondering where is a nice venue to go to? I'm willing to travel a 45min radius from Lowestoft. I have tried fishing Burgh Castle Fishery & Taswood Fishery and are very good lakes. I'm looking for a water that isn't pressured unlike the two listed and especially BCF. I'm looking for a water that isn't pressured and with a bit of patience hopefully a rewarding venue. My son is down for a month and i want a place where bringing out 20lb+ is possible. I know its alot to ask round here Basically after a venue that fishes well for big carp within 45mins of lowestoft. Please help me out guys thanks! P.S. i have been advised to go to the fisheries below: Taswood Lakes Burgh Castle Fishery Waveney Valley Lakes Airfield Lakes
  4. Are the carp in otter water the specimen carp lake used to being fed boilies? not sure but just to confirm heard luncheon meat and boilies are best for the carp. I use chocolate orange & Cell Boilies. Just to confirmation of a few things iv'e heard it's a bit silty hence the choddies. Really just wondering any pegs that do well and do you have to book as i had a look at their face book and said there were only 6 pegs. Thank you very much guys!
  5. Wondering how broome was fishing and also if boilies work well in broome. Simple question which hopefully gets answered! Thanks guys

  11. Was wondering if anybody have fished it. Was having a look at avenue angling as i was told there was a tackle shop at the industrial estate. Was planning on fishing broome pits tomoz and was told that it's fishing very well at the min. Along the way I saw a sign to a another fishery and thought i would pop in and had a look. Very well kept, lovley area and very sheltered. The warm sunny evening topped it off while i was having a look around i saw a rabbit. Saw a few swirls, but no carp on the surface. For your information it's £7 for a full day. Was wondering what sizes of fish are in there and if it still fishes well? heres a pic of it to familiarise you where im talking about.
  12. haha thats a very good idea! thanks!
